Every 10,000 Miles
Your first routine maintenance will take place after a year or at the 10,000-mile mark. When you get to this point, you will need to have our team here at Genesis of Richmond replace your engine oil and oil filter, inspect your vacuum hose, inspect your battery condition, braking system, and your air conditioner refrigerant and compressor. These are just a few of the services that we can perform for you, and you're going to want to have your oil changed and filter replaced every 10,000 miles, which we are more than happy to do for you here at Genesis of Richmond!
Every 20,000 Miles
Once you reach the 20,000 miles mark or a two-year period, whichever comes first, there are a few extra services that our team will perform here at Genesis of Richmond! In addition to everything that is performed at the 10,000-mile mark, now will be the time that you're going to want to inspect the air cleaner filter, vapor hose, fuel filter cap, and fuel tank. We highly suggest continuing to do these maintenance steps every 20,000 miles you drive. Then, once you reach the 40,000-mile mark, replace the air cleaner filter, then inspect it again at 60,000 miles to ensure it's functioning correctly.
Every 60,000 Miles
When you get to the 60,000-mile mark, you have most likely had your G70 for around six years, and you will want to have our expert technicians at Genesis of Richmond perform a few extra services to your maintenance schedule. On top of everything we have previously mentioned, we will inspect the rear differential oil with and without LSD and inspect the front differential oil for the all-wheel-drive system. Our team will also inspect the valve clearance. Adding these services into your maintenance plan at 60,000-mile intervals can help keep your Genesis by your side for another six years.
Special Service Schedules
There are certain parts of your Genesis G70 that need to be inspected or replaced at specific intervals that don't follow a strict pattern like some previously listed services. For starters, you will need to have your tires rotated every 6,000 miles, and your spark plugs replaced every 42,000 miles. You will also need to have our experts here at Genesis of Richmond inspect your drive belts inspected every 60,000 miles, then every 12,000 miles after that. Engine coolant will need to be replaced every 120,000 miles and then replaced every 24,000 miles.
